Anahlinamima is a confrontation between three displaced ecological elements on stage with the human body. Everyday elements that we might ignore, bypass, or collect and throw away. The performance offers alternative perspectives on how these simple objects can inspire the body to move. One political pineapple brings ideas beyond the decadence of a distant holiday to raise questions about our global economy, that everything can be available whenever we wish, regardless of the natural season. Anahlinamima is a simple, complex reflection of the struggle between everyday life and the beautiful possibility of what we could be.
